The Orphan

This day has been so painful, full of uncertainties and fears. Vivid and blessed memories from the past suddenly crashed without forewarning. Consequently, these memories brought not joy but agony, not hope but despair.

anNa is now a mourning orphan. The person she dearly revere is now gone. anNa never had the chance to see that being in the flesh but she never ceased on adoring him and his wonderful deeds. Today, two of anNa’s dreams have flown away. She just lost her dream to look at his serene face and to feel his blessedness. anNa can never make him the main celebrant of her matrimony.

Pope John Paul II left at the age of 84. It was a heartbreaking death, a very sad event. He did so many great acts in his life. He was not just a pope, he was the Prince of Peace and he still is. He certainly did his mission in this world, and though his suffering from his illnesses has now ended because of his death, people can’t help but mourn. He was so strong and undeniably humble. He helped so many persons, regardless of religious affiliations, in many countries. Pope John Paul II will always be revered and remembered by millions of people on earth. Though his death is really painful, people still thank God for He has given the Pope to them, to us.

------------

I cannot help but imagine the Pope in his way to the Paradise, in his way to meet his Master, our Master. For sure he has just received a grand welcome which is suitable for him.

Karol: My Master, it is You! And I am finally here with You!

Lord: My faithful son, yes, you are now here. You fought a good fight; you completed your mission very well. I know you will never fail Me. Come and forever live with Me.

*** Of course the Meeting was grander than that. Pope deserves a flamboyant welcome for he made the Creator so proud.

Pope John Paul II, thank you. I never had the chance to see your angelic face and your serene eyes but I might see you somewhere. I should see you and our Master! Goodbye for now, dear. I don’t see any need to wish for your eternal peace. I will see you then.
